Author Visits
Pickled Pepper works closely with schools in and around London in order to celebrate a culture around reading. We plan bespoke author visits for all year groups and can cater to your chosen themes, genre, topics, etc.
What you can expect from an author visit:
Events are generally run as an assembly. They are up to 1 hour long, followed by a book signing. What each event involves differs from author to author, but you can always count on something really fun, engaging and completely stress-free! The visits are a wonderful way to encourage a love of reading and writing, as well as giving young people the opportunity to learn about careers in the creative industries.
We run author visits through book sales, so there is no direct fee for an event.
If you are interested in booking any authors for an event at your school, would like more details on a specific event, or have any other enquiries, do get in touch with our School Events Coordinator, former Assistant Headteacher, Ruth Woodward, at schools@pickledpepperbooks.co.uk
